This Edgewater Panera mixes a cozy, family-like atmosphere with fresh, visually appealing food, generally fast service, and clean seating. Kiosks, an app and buzzer system streamline orders, and staff and managers are often attentive. However, busy periods, tricky parking, occasional rude interactions, unreliable curbside pickup, menu cuts (hot bowls/arugula salad) and uneven coffee/gift-card handling temper the experience. It remains a convenient spot for meatless options and quick casual meals, but expect occasional service hiccups and limited breakfast variety.

In my view, this is the best Panera in the area. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable for relaxing with some food or having a smoothie. My most recent visit was on Friday, and the manager, Chris Biaza, offered great suggestions while ensuring there were plenty of meatless options available, which I appreciated since it's Lent and I'm avoiding meat on Fridays. Overall, a big thank you to the team at the Panera in Edgewater for always looking after me!

I wouldn't recommend dining here; it's very overpriced and you definitely don't get your money's worth.

I am really disappointed with the changes! It feels like Panera has completely lost its charm, and there's no reason for me to return. I used to love their delicious hot bowls and the arugula salads, but they don't offer those anymore. I decided to try one of their new sandwiches, but that was the last straw. The French onion soup was not good, the bread served with it was extremely hard, and the new buffalo sandwich was a letdown as well. I'll share a photo so you can see for yourself. Goodbye, Panera!

They never get a order right.I have ordered pizza extra basil but never got that extra basil.Today I ordered Mediterranean bowl with chicken and Greek yogurt on the side but it was in the bowl. Asked for extra lettuce, tomatoes and Olive but there were no extra. And we were suppose to get two french baguettes as a side but got only one.
