When I parked and called the store as directed by the curbside pickup sign, my call was immediately disconnected. I ended up going inside to pick up my order and asked the cashier whether they actually offer curbside pickup or, if they do, how to properly use the service in the future (for example, by calling the store as instructed). He awkwardly smiled and admitted that they receive those calls but just ignore them, which was strange since the store wasn’t busy at all. He advised me to park in the more obvious curbside spots at the front of the store instead. I strongly recommend that the manager and corporate ensure employees deliver orders to customers for curbside pickup so the service works as intended.

While I love Panera’s food, the service at this spot was... read more I visited this Panera Bread location on July 9, 2022, around 1:45 pm to pick up some bread and a bagel. While I love Panera’s food, the service at this spot was disappointing. The cashier seemed either forgetful or unfamiliar with the menu, as I had to repeat my simple order—an asiago cheese focaccia and a crunchy cinnamon bagel to go—multiple times. I requested that the bread and bagel be sliced, but he either forgot or didn’t know how to do it, handing me the bagel uncut. After several requests, another cashier finally sliced both items for me. Additionally, when I asked to enter my phone number to check for rewards, the cashier ignored me despite me having to ask repeatedly. He didn’t wear a name badge, didn’t offer a receipt, and never asked if I wanted one. Whether he was new or simply untrained, the poor customer service left me frustrated and reluctant to return.

The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable for relaxing with some food or having a smoothie. My most recent visit was on Friday, and the manager, Chris Biaza, offered great suggestions while ensuring there were plenty of meatless options available, which I appreciated since it's Lent and I'm avoiding meat on Fridays. Overall, a big thank you to the team at the Panera in Edgewater for always looking after me!

Asked for extra lettuce, tomatoes and Olive but there were no extra.And we were suppose to get two french baguettes as a side but got only one.
