Fuxingmei Sushi House - Edgewater

For the price, the selection is not bad at all. However, coming from Southern California, where I usually have access to fresher seafood and more diverse and flavorful options, the sushi here didn't quite meet my expectations—especially when compared to other all-you-can-eat sushi places in California. If you're from or familiar with Los Angeles, I would say the sushi here is comparable to that at "Sushi Stop." Just to clarify, I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant. That said, I still enjoyed the food overall. Compared to other sushi spots in the area, this is a great option for all-you-can-eat sushi. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I'd consider returning to satisfy my sushi cravings at a reasonable price, especially if I'm away from Southern California or Japan for a while and find myself in the area again.

The restaurant is quite small, but the food is delicious. You have the option to choose a fixed-price all-you-can-eat deal or order à la carte from the menu. Some members of our group had sushi while others did not, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Just be cautious about the street parking regulations. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I've dined here twice so far and the sushi is fantastic. The rolls, nigiri, and sashimi are all incredible, and the portion sizes are generous. They don’t skimp on the fish! Don’t let the location deter you; the sushi is definitely worth it! Food: 5/5
