read moreThe Stag Inn in Dufton offers a unique menu and good beer selection, but service from the landlady may be lacking. Some patrons have experienced rude staff and disappointing food quality. However, others have found the pub to be a hidden gem with delicious meals, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere for both humans and dogs. Local ales, great food, and stunning views make it a must-visit spot for walkers and visitors alike. Booking ahead is recommended due to its popularity.
