My partner and I have come from Australia and we were hiking through the Lake District wild camping and decided to spend our last night here to freshen up before travel. Best decision of the trip! Cheap beer, good food and lovely accommodation. Would highly recommend either for a longer stay or before you head home from hiking.

Sarah was very accommodating with a big walk in party who weren’t too sure if we were going to eat! We all had picky bits and lots of drinks washed down with some shots. Lovely atmosphere and my family really enjoyed how pleasant Sarah was especially to my 1 year old nephew who was smitten with her. Thank you for looking after us all and see you very soon. Also 4 shots for £10- can’t go wrong! thank you for the hat, the little one loved it!

Although we didn't eat, the food being served looked delicious. Definitely a must-visit spot when in Pooley Bridge.
