Had a Google search and found this place for lunch. They wouldn't know from outside, but the interior is cozy and elegant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The Lambchops were suggested and I ordered them. The Chops were cooked perfectly and tasted awesome, but for $35, the cost of the Chops, you get nothing else with it other then a slice of onion, some cucumbers, a few tomato slices and a hunk of feta cheese and a few strips of Pita bread. I've been going to Auburn Cafe since 1990, When I returned to Michigan from being Out west and the East and my Brothers took me there to the original Auburn
I can't love this place anymore than I do. Excellent staff, service, owners and especially food! Big hidden gem in Metro Detroit. Very recommended.

Not worth your money
We also ordered the three dip sampler, and all of the dips were homemade. The tzatziki had a nice kick to it, although the spicy feta dip was milder—definitely due to the garlic. We enjoyed every bite. The gyro meat was excellent, and I opted for a salad instead of potatoes, which turned out to be massive! My husband chose the potatoes, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They were incredibly lemony and flavorful. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, ensuring our food was served promptly and keeping the pita bread coming as well! We will definitely be returning.
