I had made an advance booking for a few nights to secure accommodation during Bauma 2025, but this booking was suddenly cancelled due to overbooking. This sudden cancellation caused serious problems for me. Due to the high demand during the fair, comparable accommodation is difficult to find or involves significantly higher prices. In addition, I had to spend valuable time and energy looking for alternatives, which I did not expect when I had made an earlier and confirmed hotel booking. Dealing with bookings in this way leaves a very negative impression. As a guest, I rely on a confirmed booking being honoured and not cancelled at short notice especially at a time when accommodation availability is so severely limited. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend the hotel based on this experience.

The food wa... read more Our tour group ate dinner here one night, so the meal was pre-arranged and consisted of chicken, potatoes and squash, and apple strudel for dessert. The food was excellent and everyone at our table enjoyed it. The service was great and the staff was proficient enough in English to make things very easy. It was a short 6 block walk from our hotel, but the surrounding area does not offer much in terms of sights. A nice old church was about it.

They offered a nice variety of white asparagus, to go with ham, schnitzel, or white fish. The food was of good quality, so was the service. Not sure about the location, since when you want to sit outside, you sit on the dull concrete with all the noise of the main road (which you overlook, actually).
