What User doesn't like about Restaurant Altes Badhaus:
First, service was good. However, the meal was not. We ordered Schnitzel with white Aspargus. The Schnitzel tasted sour, was grey in color. Obviously not the freshest. Very disappointing. View all feedback.
In the midst of the picturesque old town of Eberbach with its winding alleys and idyllic places to see, many attractions of the Haspelturm, old market, old city wall ............ we found the restaurant Alte Badhaus when strolling. The restaurant is located on the Lindenplatz and it is the oldest bath house in Germany. According to old documents probably from 1340 to 1708 in operation It is a listed half-timbered house, beautifully restored, but with a lot of charm. In the interiors a historical, rustic vault cellar invites you to dine. If you want to stay for longer you can get to the connected hotel. In front of the restaurant the luxuriantly green terrace area invites you to take a place, and as the streets around, as well as the Lindenplatz are traffic calmed, you can also enjoy your return without much street noise. The menu offers a rich selection of Mediterranean dishes: for example tapas, flame-cake, fish, couscous, risotto etc., as well as a rich beverage menu. but also the lovers of German cuisine are not too short: steaks, carvings, roasts ..........a changing season card, for example asparagus, mussels, mushrooms ....... added the selection of dishes. We were looking forward to: Malibu Mint Collins Malibu , lime juice, mineral water and fresh mint leaves very refreshing Malibi Maracujasirup My dearest chose tapas : Puplo grilled squid arms in parsley pesto and limonen great !!! roasted sardines well in soy lacquered wails tip duo by the jokobs mussel with chorizo in this combination never eaten, but very, very good. All tapas were served in small bowls, appetically arranged, A delightful experience and a friendly, fleeting, attentive service, understands itself that followed a generous tip. At our restaurant visit we followed a digestive walk along the rivers Neckar and Itter before going home. Since we discovered during the walk that you can borrow canoes, we want to come back to go canoe and possibly return to the bathroom house, because this place is definitely a 2. Worth visiting.
