Great food and very cheap for the proportion they give you the chips are made amazingly

We usually get fish and chips once a week from these guys. The proce is very reasonable and the service is quick for takout or delivery. The fish is battered just right and the portions are decent. I am also a fan of the large potato scallops and Pineapple fritters to top it off for a sweet treat afterwards. Would recommend for a good local fish a chips.

This place is getting worse and worse. tonight we ordered fish, chips and calamari. while we ordered 4 calamari, was one the size of a 10c coin. chips, where cooked and dry. the fish was half the size of a normal fish that is served. very disappointed. also the customer service was disgusting and rude. will not be back

Used to be our favourite fish and chip shop in EH/AC area previously 5 star. Stopped ordering the fish as it was not fresh/overpriced, potato scallops are like cardboard, mainly went for the chips. Unfortunately the customer service is really lacking these days and we will not be returning again. Need to really increase their service skills and train new staff to be capable of handling orders and talking to customers/calling out orders. Had our meal refunded after it sat there to go soggy while we were waiting outside. Had a much better experience at Albany Forest immediately after with crispy chips and real potato scallops.
