The Grain Thai - Eastwood

We ordered the vegetarian curry puffs, which were delicious, though they could have had a bit more filling. The pad see ew was also nice—not too salty, though a little on the oily side. Interestingly, our veggie stir-fry was noticeably smaller than those at the other tables around us, which was somewhat puzzling and not ideal since we tend to enjoy larger portions. However, they ended up charging us less than we expected, which was a strange twist. Despite that, we had a solid meal and wouldn't mind returning. The Grain is located a bit away from the main dining area near the station where most of the restaurants are, so I’m not sure how long it would take to walk there. However, if you’re driving, it’s definitely worth checking out. The restaurant is nestled among residential houses, giving it a local vibe where residents can enjoy their Thai food fix.

This is a wonderful spot to enjoy their affordable lunch specials, and they even offer delivery if you're nearby. The food is consistently flavorful and portion sizes are generous. The only downside is that it's quite a small space, with only about four or five tables available for seating.

The flavors and spices are fantastic and perfectly balanced. They consistently deliver the level of spice and heat you request. However, they could be more generous with the portions of meat in their dishes; it tends to be a bit heavy on the noodles and lacking in protein. Other than that, it's spot on!

The Pad See Eew with Duck is the Bomb ! Great Hot Wock Flavour. A definite goto quick wholesome food. Absolutely great staff and excellent food. I had the yellow chicken curry and it was very well done. Try the chrysanthemum tea! Give this place a try, the prices are excellent and you will love the food.
