What whomewhy doesn't like about The Rose Cottage Inn:
I noticed on Facebook that there is a coffee and cake place within this pub now, it's closed on Mondays and shuts at 3pm most days, except weekends when it shuts at 4pm. View all feedback. What badmintontim likes about The Rose Cottage Inn:
It was our first time here and, in fact, it will not be the last, without a doubt, the service was very good and friendly and the food was also good and tasty (see photos). Only the Christmas menu was offered, so I would like to try the standard menu again. View all feedback.

read moreWheatsheaf has a mixed reputation, showcasing both its charm and significant service challenges. While a vibrant atmosphere and reasonable drink prices draw patrons in, inconsistent service and lengthy wait times plague the dining experience. Many diners express disappointment with the food quality, citing issues like over-salted dishes and stale bread. However, some rave about exceptional vegan options, friendly staff, and memorable events. Despite the restaurant's potential, frequent problems with service and food have led many to reconsider their return. A call for improvement is clear: patrons want quality service and food befitting this beloved local pub.
