Don't let the exterior put you off, here in the industrial area nestled amongst the factories and warehouses is an absolute cracker of a place, serving authentic noodle dishes from Yunan province, China.
I had the mixed noodles with chicken and was met with a huge serve of fresh noodles boasting a fantastic mix of tongue tingling sechuan pepper, pickled vegetables and firey chilli.

What Gabe Buckridge doesn't like about Mei's Noodles:
For someone who's been to Yunnan and had authentic Yunnanese food, this is just okay. I'm a huge fan of mixian(rice noodles) so I'm gonna come over again to try their cross the bridge rice noodles one weekend. Staff are very laid-back and helpful. Dishes are reasonably priced. View all feedback.
Here with family and friends. eating is good, but all the different types of noodles were a bit similar. we ordered 4 different types of nudel, they were all not bad, after having 2 of them, they are getting boring and do not want to try the rest. there is a special nudel available only on Friday, a bit annoying as I would rather have on weekdays. they can only pay money here, or bank transfer, which is vey strange, for the first time I have a bank transfer in a restaurant.
I came to the cross of the bridge today, but found out that it was only for the weekend! I decided to try her other subtitles soup little puddles. very delicious! I think this place is underestimated! I will give it at least 3.8 for now, until I have tried their driven weekend!
After having lived in yunnan for two years, where the Guoqiao-Mixian "the crossing of the bridge noodles was my typical start in the day, I was very excited about mei’s noodles that offers traditional Yunnnan style Chinese noodles. after the first few mouthful meis famous mixed noodles with pork I was immediately returned to yunnan. the combination of plastered vegetables, chop meat, roasted nut sauce and chili (chilli is optional) is really a taste like no other (in good wise) the noodles are delicious. really, really delicious. a helpful heads up, these noodles are sharp! I am a spicy, but the medium heat is enough of me! the portions are also very...read more
Turned off in half an industrial area directly near swansea St markets, the place is quite simple and also the menu is quite easy with just one handful of items, a good sign. had mixed noodles with huh, and bark soup, the winner was the mixed noodles, but both were really good. will definitely go back, and in any case for the mixed noodles. in the great scheme of the various Chinese cuisine restaurants that exist in the perth yunnan kitchen not too often for less than ten dollars this dish is quite unique and fantastic worth. will go back at a wowry to try their over the bridge nudeln, insecure what it is, but sounds like fun. absolutely love that this...read more
My all time favourite side dish is chilli seaweed and lentil jelly, typical street food taste, actually all her cold dishes and noodles are all so tasty especially the little pot noodle, I love the soup base, not too heavy not too light, just about the right taste, MEi never disappointed me and my friend, always come to Mei's noodle when I run out of choices!
