The Roasted Tomato - East Stroudsburg

Wow. This does not look like much from 80 but wow nice little gem here. Everything seems to be made from scratch ! Reasonable prices and even for seafood entrees.

Despite the fact that their brochure CLEARLY says dinner until 10, we went in at 9:20 and were told no food. Annoying false advertising.

I had to leave a star in order to post the review. The reality is the restaurant was closed on Friday evening when we arrived! It looked fairly abandoned, like it hadn't been open for some time. On behalf of future families and travelers I wish the owners would update their online listings.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the super fresh salad bar, although small, also includes lovely pasta salads and 2 homemade soups. The stuffed shrimp and perfectly cooked steak were the main dishes my husband and I shared together. We just had to tell the handsome chef how ocean fresh the shrimp were, like the Oceanside restaurant we had visited the day before in MA! What a lovely surprise to get such great seafood in the Poconos! This restaurant is definitely on an upswing with this chef, and I highly recommend that you give it a try!

Stayed at the hotel while waiting for our new residence. Thought how convenient to have a restaurant there. The food was the worst! The service just as bad! The waiting was terrible. Wouldn't go back for Free, not if they even paid me! No ambiance either!
