I absolutely adored this charming cafe! The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Christmas decorations added a festive touch to the ambiance. I ordered the shakshouka, which was delicious. The tomatoes and other vegetables were bursting with flavor, and the eggs were poached to perfection. The feta cheese and cilantro on top complemented the dish wonderfully. The... View all feedback.
What Shaji K doesn't like about Beer House Cafe:
We came in for breakfast on a weekday and ordered the early bird plate, a couple croissants, and the banana Nutella pancakes. Now, in terms of food, the Bombay homefries had a great unique flavor, the pancakes were delicious and had a generous serving of Nutella, and the Algerian latte was very good. Now, the service on the other hand was an entirely different story. 20 minutes after ordering we were told that they d... View all feedback.
Went with my omni family here and we all loved our food! I got the avocado toast and shared the brain salad with my sister - both were absolutely delicious! we ate outside with our three dogs and our waitress was also great with them
Eating here is great, but I ordered a meal as vegan labeled then I was not vegan sauces given and had no warning until I found a suspicious piece meat in my meal then it was absolutely vegan! except the sauce that was not vegan and I was never told what was exciting. do not describe any meal as vegan if it is not completely vegan next time.
I went with my vegan husband, two vegetarian children and another non-vegan family of four. we chose this restaurant because it was one of the only nearby rafting that had outdoor food (covid) and vegan options that I could find. when we arrived, we found four concrete tables before the restaurant. we have two of them. I appreciate that the menu is clearly marked with what vegan was. I ordered the hearts of palm salad and my man ordered the old wrap. we also shared a smoothie. all present were happy with their meal. I thought the hearts of palm salad was very tasty and the smoothie was delicious. my man said he enjoyed him. the food has set well with us. bonus, there is an ice cream place on the street jimmy’s icecream from stroudsburg with vegan ice cream. I think there were three options. I loved the brownish taste of the ingwer in the smooth. I make almost every morning a green smoothie for the family and it tasted as fresh as mine with many interesting fumigs. the waitress wore a mask and was very attentive. we had a great dinner! definitely recommend. the interiors were closed due to Covid restrictions, but it looked like a really nice place to hang out and the bathroom was clean. ironically we didn't get a beer.
This was a great foundation for a group of my friends who are carnivores and I as vegans. I have the avocado wrap that was good. would have wished a few vegan options, but it matched our needs. drinks were expensive. loved the kamin and cozy feeling of the place. as a hint sounds the critique before it sounds like it was for the barely creek restaurant as I went there and felt the same over the menu.
I went here with friends specifically because it said they had vegan options on here. The only things she told me were vegan were the veggie chili with no cheese and the hummus appetizer. Nothing was labeled as vegan and the black bean burger had eggs in it and they had no rolls for the impossible burger to make it vegan. I ended up getting a falafel wrap minus the cheese and tzaiki but I was super disappointed going in after a long day of kayaking and having little options.
