Panacea - East Staffordshire

After deciding on Panacea in Rocester for an Indian takeaway, we were not disappointed. All the food arrived hot and tasted amazing. It was so good that we decided to go back a second time, and the experience was even better. Abdul delivered with a smile and a big thank you. We can't wait for our third visit at Merlin Court in Uttoxeter.

We ordered a beer, chilli curry, keema naan, and rice after enjoying some popadoms and dips. The food was all cooked well, although my friend mentioned that his plate could have been warmer. I was served my curry in a bowl, which I found a bit excessive and would have preferred a metal skillet or bowl to eat from. Despite this, the food was warm enough and we both enjoyed our meals. After finishing our drinks, we had a nice chat with the staff who came out occasionally, giving us a glimpse into the kitchen and the people behind the delicious dishes. It felt like a great family atmosphere, and we wouldn't hesitate to dine here again if we find ourselves in the area later this year.

I am from Birmingham and stopped by to eat at panacea. All I could say is that the owners have really taken care with customer service and the food was absolutely amazing. I was recommended to try the new dishes that is not yet on the menu, these dishes really had appeased my taste buds to another level, all the food came out on time. I loved the ambience of the place. Definitely worth a visit again.

We revisited Panacea after a few years, but it was a mistake. My phall was not spicy and was way too salty, as if a whole salt shaker was poured in. The keema nan had only a small amount of keema and was also too salty. The garlic nan had hardly any garlic flavor. The popadums were burnt and the onion salad was not fresh. Unfortunately, I ended up throwing away over half of my meal. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from this takeaway again.

Tasty food,fantastic service and very good value,highly recommend, I had the chicken Jaipur which was one of the curries I have eaten and if you like your food hot have the bullet naan, service was really good both staff attentive and went the extra mile
