Paterson Ave Deli - East Rutherford

The owners are fantastic, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. I visit this place regularly and plan to continue doing so for a long time.

When you think of NJ you think of two things: a really good slice of pizza in the most random of places, and cold cuts sandwiches at a local deli in the heart of a blue collar town. A few days ago I woke up with the desire to have one of these sandwiches made by a local, and to my luck this little family run shop happened to have the exact vision I had for a cold cuts sandwich. Chris happened to be behind the counter on this day, and he had just made his home made habanero chile spread from chiles sourced from his backyard. I can't stress how this spread elevated the taste of the sandwich from great to GREATNESS. 10/10 would recommend this shop again and I can't wait until I go back for my next sandwich. (sidenote, I was thinking of going to Jersey Mike's...I'm so glad I didn't...

This restaurant serves the best sandwiches—heaped high and bursting with flavor! Roy and his team are wonderfully welcoming and friendly, and they offer a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and more. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive, and it's a great bonus that they deliver. I love everything I try from here, and I find myself craving their deli offerings more and more. I wish these folks all the best and hope they’re around for a long time!
