What JohnCasey29 doesn't like about Monks Walk:
Dark. Small. Spooky. Historical. Full of locals, some friendly, some not so. Higgeldy piggeldy mix of rooms with very low ceilings. Beware if over 5'11 ! 2 glasses of wine £8! Diabolical. It wasn't even nice wine. We left some of it which is unheard of View all feedback. What johnhouston2 likes about Monks Walk:
Being situated on a quieter street towards the Minster, the Monks Walk Inn can sometimes be less crowded than the ones in the Market Places. read moreThe restaurant is a mix of historical charm and local character, with some friendly and some not so friendly locals. The beer selection is impressive, but the presence of dogs can be overwhelming for some customers. While the atmosphere and variety of beers are usually satisfying, the food service can be slow and disappointing in quality. The historic setting provides a unique dining experience, with an outdoor area for fresh pizza. Overall, the pub offers a cozy and friendly environment, perfect for enjoying a beer and conversation.
