Best bagels around, I drive past 2 bagel places to get theirs. I see negative comments about them not answering the phone, but as someone who worked at a deli for 5 years I totally understand. You take care of the customers who show up at the store before the ones who want to call in. The employees are very nice too! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Goldberg's Famous Bagels:
Unfortunately they don't make the bagels on premises. You can wait 15 minutes or more to find out that ran out of what you wanted. There is no point of waiting because they don't really know when a new shipment gets driven over. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, the bagels are not made on-site. You might find yourself waiting for 15 minutes or longer, only to discover that they’ve run out of what you wanted. There's really no point in waiting, as they don't seem to have a clear idea of when the next delivery will arrive.
Looking for the best bagels? Look no further! Once you try these bagels, you won't want to enjoy any others. The drink selection is outstanding as well!
**Service:** Terrible. When I arrived, I was the only customer ordering. They prepared my two sandwiches, then let them sit for about 15 minutes while they served other customers who came in after me. I stood by the register waiting to pay, and it was a challenge to get anyone's attention. I honestly don’t know how long I would have waited otherwise. **Food:** I ordered two sandwiches. The first was a gluten-free everything bagel with plain vegan cream cheese and lox. Unfortunately, it was awful—the bagel was so hard that it hurt my teeth and gums to eat. I ended up scraping off what I could and not eating the bagel at all. The second sandwich was a gluten-free plain bagel with bacon and egg. This one was only slightly better; the bagel was soggy and not warm, which was another letdown. At least I could eat it, though. In total, I spent over $28 for these two sandwiches, and I’m still hungry. What a disappointment! I’ve included a picture of my two sandwiches next to my friend’s.
Although this isn't my favorite Goldberg's location, I don't believe you'll find a better bagel place in the neighborhood. It's a small shop, so expect to wait a bit, but the food is great!
This bagel spot in the Hamptons offers fresh bagels and fantastic breakfast sandwiches. How about a classic bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll?
