Minas Cafe Steakhouse - East Providence

Overall, my experience at the restaurant was good. However, I was disappointed that the items in the salad area were not marked. I found a dish with shredded carrots that I thought was chicken salad, but it actually had rustin in it. This concerned me as a vegetarian may accidentally consume it. Additionally, I have a gluten allergy and despite informing the staff, I had concerns about cross-contamination as the person handling the meat mentioned it was coated with wheat. It is unfortunate that basic practices such as labeling food and educating staff on food allergies are not being followed at this establishment.

This restaurant is excellent and exceptional. They offer a wide variety of meats, salads, and fresh vegetables. The food is priced by the ounce and is very reasonable for lunch. The service is prompt, the atmosphere is inviting, and the environment is clean. I especially enjoyed the carved brisket, which was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be coming back to this place for lunch. It has quickly become my new favorite spot!

My experience at a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo was fantastic. I'm happy I chose to eat here. The meat and buffet were both incredibly tasty. The chorrasco was perfectly sliced and cooked to perfection. They also offer a full bar. The pay-by-the-pound system is unique and allows for sharing while still being budget-friendly. I will definitely be coming back. It's great to know this restaurant is in the city!

I had recently eaten with my man at lunchtime. eating was absolutely delicious! the personal was attentive and friendly. we will definitely come back!

I think I set my expectations too high for my first time toa Brazilian steakhouse.While the food has great flavor the main point of coming to a Brazilian steakhouse is the meats. The regular beef was said to be medium, but was more like well. It was hard and chewy. The best cuts seemed to be those wrapped in bacon. So in hindsight, always choose bacon wrapped XYZ. They even bacon wrap sausage! Anyhow, I'd like to go back when they're busy to see if the meats aren't so well done as they won't have been sitting as long on the heat.We were told that they're currently in a buffet style mode. I don't know if this will change in the future but it works. They charge by weight and overall it was an affordable lunch with my wife and kids.
