I got a demand for sushi while on the road and was not sure what to expect from this place, but there was a shot. wow! delicious sushi, beautifully prepared and presented. friendly service at the bar austin. I did not try the hibachi, but groups around the grill gathered seemed to have fun!

We went to my friend's 31st birthday during the afternoon at 1 o'clock, we had a 1pm reservation, we didn't sit almost 1:30. they were all the tables open as they had opened at 1 o'clock. After 20 minutes, I was how we can get tired so we can start to order appetizers and drinks. they were as if they had our table. (I work at a Hibachi Square, we go in an hour early to set up, not after we are already open) we sit, order our drinks and appetizers, and she wanted to put in our hibachi, I said no we are not rushing, they can wait until the appetizers come, we want to enjoy our experience and not be rushed. the Hibachi cook came out and boiled, he was okay, except he gave the nudel orders to the wrong person, so he had to go back and grab them, but they had to cook my friends next to order of huh in the back because the cook already began to cook (but the nudels errors on the grill they could not share the sheck for a party of 6 (3 couples) ( when the bill came, we had to find out our own amounts and the tipp was not included. must know how bad she was in service. I was there in the past and had better experiences. but this was terrible. I even told the manager, and he scared it. absolutely terrible.

They would get no stars if I had the choice. worse place ever! we were there for 1 1/2 hours and our meals were not complete yet. the waiter was bad. the Hibachi cook was slow and blew our food. we were there first, but the people who came 15 20 minutes after sitting at our table got full teller and we hardly got anything about us when we got to eat. the manager was so rude that he must lose his job. When he came out, he was automatically rude and never tried to fix anything. not a hint of helping a customer or doing how he took care of him! he tried to stare us as if he wanted a fight. we were the only people of the color at our table and were treated with such unmistakable, respectful and disregard that I will never return. the service on the hibachi side is the worse thing I have ever experienced and the manager does not deserve his job! if they have a color on their skin, they do not receive respect or food from this place.

My friend recommended this restaurant, so I got tons of food for takeout! Sashimi sushi were pretty fresh, and I really like the special roll in its individual box but I don’t know the name of it. Overall it was a good dinner and I’m super satisfied :D

Usually we have a great experience here, but tonight ended horribly. Im not one to complain, but the whole check out process took about an hour. Our server was great the whole time, and was super friendly and attentive, so Im not really sure what happened at the end. Wed been there for so so long, we walked our checks up the front to ask what we should do.The hostess at the front was less than helpful, extremely rude, and then proceeded to mock us about two feet from us persistently. Her attitude and demeanor ruined the whole night I mean she was that rude. I felt very uncomfortable. I then finally was able to get my check, when an incredibly intoxicated group of individuals got too rowdy and in our face for standing near their table. This only furthered a horrendous check out experience. Management seemed to try their hardest to control the other group (who was swearing at our party for no reason), and also was attentive to us discussing our issues with the hostess. I have a gift card to come back, but because of the hostess and the lack of control over a whole table of intoxicated folks, Im not too sure. Our food happened to be sub par and cold (the veggies were seriously undercooked too while served at hibatchi as well, but we were willing to just forget about that because weve had great experiences prior to tonight.The only reason its getting a 2 is because they tried, but overall unacceptable.
