However, I had to wait 35 minutes for my orde... read more I ordered takeout (though you can also dine at a picnic table), and the food was quite good, especially the tacos. However, I had to wait 35 minutes for my order at 2:30 PM. The music was pretty loud, and the two layers of bulletproof glass made it challenging to place my order. While it’s an improvement over chain restaurants, I would suggest steering clear if you're in a hurry.

I was about to go to Taco Bell when I noticed Taco Pete across the street and decided to give it a try instead. I ordered the taco salad and beef quesadilla, and they were absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this is easily the best Mexican food in Atlanta and some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s that good—like West Coast level good!

Update on 09/26/22: During my recent visit, I was shocked by the extremely rude behavior of a staff member. When I greeted him and asked how he was doing, he responded by saying he didn’t have time for my “ignorance.” This response was completely uncalled for, especially as I was simply being polite, and there were other customers waiting behind me. He mentioned there were only two employees working and seemed overwhelmed, but that’s no excuse for treating customers disrespectfully. He then loudly announced over the microphone that he would serve whoever was ready to order and told me to step aside because I wasn’t ready. While the food is usually good, such poor customer service has left me deeply disappointed and insulted. I will not be returning to this location nor recommending it to others. I want my food prepared with care, not served with hostility. I’m lowering my rating after this terrible experience.
