Limin's Cafe Caribe - East Orange

After 10 plus years of food in this facility, I am so happy to eat here with the same pleasant moments.

First off? The food is not good. It lacks salt and taste. Curry is spices not a seasoning, you need to season the meat correctly and over salt it a bit because you add it to water to cook after roasting. If you don't know there's another cook? Secondly, the meats are not thoroughly cooked. The goat is too hard. Curry chicken bleeding through the bone. This must be the worst rice and the peas of any culture at all! The plantain is chewing so that the cook does not even know how to choose or cook ripe enough plantain?. If I could give zero stars, I would, because it doesn't deserve the 1st?. Owners do not disturb me to leave a comment, I don't want to hear it or read it. A cook that can cook, I don't care if it's you too) or close the restaurant.

The staff, service and food was excellent. We had a family meeting with 14 people for my mother's birthday. The food came fast, excellent and very tasty. The staff was very attentive and respected for our needs throughout the afternoon. We enjoyed the experience. Come back!

Smoothie was really good. Eating is good. I felt like some of the oxtails were missing maybe gravy, dripping some kind of moisture. It was almost dry over the rice. But I've eaten several times there and I'll go on. Service is always on the point.

Limin?s food and quality all around has just gone completely down the drain! After being opened for so?? many years, you would have thought the determination, atmosphere, the food etc., would grow into something bigger and better as time goes on but instead it?s become a total disappointment. The food is oh so dry, not flavorful, very small portions for the amount of money being paid overall awful. I mean I know food has taken an increase on many lives, but even before inflation hit it was still the same small amount of food for extreme prices. One good thing I will say though, the smoothies, shakes and drinks are the only A+ from me and my family. The front working staff, not all but some, are so rude, have horrible attitudes, talk mess about you, just treat you and their job like garbage. Instead of focusing on doing good work and treating the customers well.
