probably the best I ever had. if they are looking for a cozy pub with great food next to an open fire, then they found it. make sure they book, although it is very busy. ask for jamie and say, jack. they have sat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Cock Inn:
We visited here on Saturday 18th March and had a drink and a bar snack......unfortunately it was one of those WALK IN AND EVERYTHING STOPS kind of pubs.Open fire and wide screen tv with rugby on and decent old traditional furnishings in a wonderful...village....but come on Mr Landlord......... at least chat/face your customers.visited 18th march 2017 View all feedback.

Useful bar staff can't keep a beer, waited for 45 minutes for one half of the limonade. then was asked to go for my clothes. not recommended
Classic village pub, large selection of drinks the occasional piece of live music. the perfect place for a casual drink. barman is also not bad
Great old fashioned drinking house. If you appreciate great beers, perfectly kept, and are not up yourself too far to have a laugh then this is the best pub in the shire . If you dont and are, then stay away . Here endeth the lesson.
