My wife and I came here for a late lunch and had a great experience. I?ve never had Poke before, but it is really good...we got one poor bowl and one ramen noodle and both were excellent! Very filling, and super tasty! The staff is super friendly too.We will absolutely be back for more! View all feedback.
What Chris M doesn't like about Island Poke East Meadow:
This was the worst experience I ever experienced. If you like poke you need to go and try tiki poke in Hicksville it is expensive, but they make the food in the back and not in front of you and avoid this place like the plague. I would've rather of had a big Mac from McDonald's. View all feedback.
It’s a hole in the wall ramen shop?? it’s not gourmet, it’s not straight off the boat, but if you’re hungry looking for a good price on a quick Japanese meal worth having, this is the place.
The poke bowls here are wonderful! They cut food to the perfect bite size! Extras are very expensive however which is a downside. It’s also a shame that sauce on the side is an up-charge for bowl. Sells a good range of drinks. Seating is also ample though I prefer to take out most of the time. I also appreciate sriracha being available as a free condiment.
Came here for lunch one afternoon. Decided to create our own poke bowls. Decent size portions, fresh ingredients. They also offer ramen, will save that for another time. A little on the pricy side but a nice treat.
The flavor is there but the portion size has changed. Barely any lettuce for the salad base. A few slices of jalapeño, cucumber, and onion. I get cutting the portion on the protein, but the veggies are rather cheap in price. For $16 i would have been better making a salad at home. Upgraded bowl with their name on it costing the consumer.
If you want to spend $18 on mainly rice with Barely any protein this is the place to go. Pre-Covid they have a normal amount of protein, have fun trying to find it in your bowl, which is smaller and they charge for the sauces now. Seriously, for Eel sauce when a whole bottle is $4. I use to like it, now I would not waste my money:
