Surprisingly the family meal deal we got from KFC East Maitland was very nice as it was hot and fresh. The wait time in drive through was very quick compared to other visits. The family meals can be a bit on the pricy side but when you break it down it will feed quite a few people. View all feedback.

My family love KFC however the construction around the centre at the moment isn't great. For a relatively new restaurant it is showing wear and tear. Service is slow and the food hit and miss. View all feedback.
Often visit KFC Greenhills and the service really needs improving, they are literally too busy and need more opposition, food is okay
My family and I popped in there recently, alas the quality of the food has gone down, it is now very oily.

This is the best KFC we have visited anywhere in NSW,and we have visited a few. Spot on. Service good and the food usually freshly cooked and hot ,due to the large turnover, which says a lot as to how popular it is.
We were travelling from Sydney to Tamworth an decided to stop at KFC for lunch. This was a huge mistake! This KFC is quite large and has outdoor seating and although there was hardly anyone in the restaurant most of the tables were dirty and needed a good clean. The staff were the worst I have ever come across in a fast food restaurant. The youth that served us made no eye contact, had no idea about customer service and could not answer a single question regarding the menu. I ordered a specific wrap and I asked what type of sauce was on it as it wasn't listed on the menu. Three times I asked the same question and he couldn't understand what I meant. Well that's what I took the shrug of the shoulders to mean. In the end I just ordered the wrap and decided I would have to find out for myself. As I said, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant and yet it took half an hour tor our order to arrive, which was a three piece feed and my wrap. All of which was almost cold! My wrap had brown lettuce, one small chicken tender and it was absolutely swimming in this flavourless brown sauce, all in a wrap that was so stale it was brittle . Very unappetising to say the least. I was going to take it back but couldn't have faced dealing with the youth behind the counter again. I ate the chicken tender and threw out the rest. So if you are driving through Maitland and you see this KFC - keep driving! I highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant!
