The Links Lounges At Macdonald Marine

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with a beautiful room overlooking the sea. The dinner choices were great and the renovation of the hotel has really improved the overall atmosphere. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed a pleasant afternoon. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast service. There was a long wait for hot items and by the time we got to the buffet, many items were already depleted. We also found that there was a lack of butter, croissants, tomato juice, and cheese. It would have been beneficial to have individual coffee pots for each guest. Despite this, we still found the hotel to be great overall. Personally, I did not agree with the additional discretionary service fee that was added to everything, as it increased the cost of drinks and snacks.

I had an incredible spa weekend at this place. The hotel had recently been renovated and our rooms were fantastic. The price was great for what we received. The staff went above and beyond, the food was delicious, and the spa treatments were top-notch. We will definitely return. This place deserves more than just a five-star rating.

Stunning hotel in fab location. unfortunately our room was not ready and we had to wait over our check-in. no offer a cup of coffee while we waited. some employees really helpful and nice other employees absolutely indifferent. the room was nice but small. standard with the coffee machine and shower. the hair dryer did not work. that could not really judge as five stars.

Beautiful public area, friendly staff and sea view. that's it. the bathrooms in the rooms are dated and need dc. we had rooms and both were really loud. in my room we heard the pipes that almost all the night begin the bed. minibar refrigerators are too loud. we had to turn them off in the middle of the night. the hotel has a lot of potential with this stunning location, but unfortunately it has to be done a lot before it can be called hotel.

The restaurant offers stunning views and has a lovely bar. They serve high-quality food and drinks, with great views of the Bass Rock. The afternoon tea options also look delicious.
