A group of us meet every Friday morning at Wetherspoons Macbeth Moir and often stay for lunch. The staff are excellent, helpful and efficient, particularly Wendy who we have got to know well over the years. The food is reasonable for the price. View all feedback.
What Rina Rimal doesn't like about The David Macbeth Moir:
Very poor rating as walked three miles to get here as Weatherspoons app says open now to find it closed. Not amused. We like to visit these pubs as good value and you know what you are getting. Very poor that app can’t be relied...upon. View all feedback.
This used to be the place to meet when I lived in Wallyford a few years ago. Myself and some old friends have all moved about since , so we all thought it would be good to go there for old time's sake and catch up. It was awful. Smell of dirty grease and bad language from the open kitchen. Disinterested bar staff. Loud lecherous old drunks who could do with a good scrub pestering us with their dirty talk. Girls snorting drugs in the upstairs toilet Younger drunks having heating arguments on the stairs After less than 30 minutes we decided we'd had enough and went along the Courtyard The Ship Inn, which was lovely. I don't know if this place is under different management now or what but I can safely say that we will never be back.
Celebrating getting into university…. The people in charge of this establishment need fired … totally no control of their presidency or the people in it
Great service, very quick unfortunately the chicken wings very dry and not very hot i have had before and always pretty good but today very poor. The rest of the meals acceptable.
Went for breakfast which was fresh and hot, which can be a bit of a novelty in Spoons. Service was good and I was offered an extra sausage as I didn't want beans or tomato.
Had a cracking brunch,so tasty. Would recommend mmmmmmmmm
