On January 29th, 2013, I visited Glenrothes for business and happened upon The Burgh. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the cozy and relaxing atmosphere and was greeted by the friendly staff. The bar area was tastefully decorated in warm colors with a simple rustic style. We enjoyed a three-course dinner that was incredibly good value for money. What User doesn't like about The Burgh Bar Restaurant:
Great Food. This is a fab little pub on Leslie High Street. It has a choice of eating in the bar or in the raised dining section at the rear of the pub. It also has a small outdoor area which you can have your food in on those extremely rare sunny Scottish days! The choice of food covers pretty much everybody's likes including the old pub favourites steak pie, scampi etc. but I would say it is of a higher consistant... View all feedback.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant with their fish and chips. I visited during a special event, but enjoyed it so much that I returned for another visit. The service was exceptional and the fish was delicious. I couldn't have asked for more. 10/10.

At only £7 for a main course, our expectations were not high, but the food exceeded them. I had the lasagne, which was delicious and generously portioned. My colleague had the Sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection. Overall, the dining experience at The Burgh was excellent and I would highly recommend it.
I am delighted to see these negative reviews! The previous management lacked courage. Although some customers found the service from the employees for dessert to be pleasant, I find it offensive! We are now under new management, following two years of previous management, and are working to regain our former reputation! The old reviews were written before the change in management. We are dedicated to satisfying our customers with quality food in every aspect!
Great food. great atmosphere. great place: . after reading the last review, I just had to say something. 3 times to the burgh for tee, as it was taken back in dec and yes, it must be a change of cook again because the eating is fab. it would highly recommend that the staff are friendly and would do everything they can to ensure that they have a gr8 meal. for example, I am not a wee expert n like some white wee n a I was chosen a little dry n the personal knew of my face I didn't like it and didn't change it to any extra cost n I got a nice sweet I enjoyed and yes the menu has no great choice, but there is something to everyone and there is a special board that has a decent selection....read more
Went for a meal here last night, bruschetta was stone cold&my friends haggis balls were fatty&greasy! Main course wasn't much better, I had chicken curry&im pretty sure it had been reheated in microwave. Some bits were hot&cold....didn't eat it!!! We told the staff&they didn't seem that surprised. We stayed for drink &barman gave us a cocktail jug to make up for things, could nt fault the staff but noticed the chef at the bar later&he looked like he was laughing at us!! I've made nicer meals at home&without the risk of food poisoning.
