The Bistro - East Lothian

After a five-hour car journey, I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday lunch served by lovely and friendly staff. The carrot and ginger soup was divine, and the roast pork, especially the chef's roasted potatoes, were excellent. It's a shame I can't say the same about my two horses who had been running all day!

My wife and I visited the Bistro on Family Day at Musselburgh Racecourse. Thanks to a very helpful waitress, we managed to get a table at the Bistro (I recommend booking in advance). We were served by polite, friendly, and helpful staff, qualities that are reflected throughout the staff in Musselburgh. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and good value for money. Thank you to everyone involved.

We went for the races recently. The service and the food were great, we laughed with the staff and I greatly enjoyed my fish and chips!! I will definitely be back.

Attended Musselburgh Racecourse today and ate in the Bistro!! Made to feel very welcome by the manager at the door and just took us right to the table.Ordered our food, Home cooked roast lamb and mint was to die for!! Roast potatoes were perfect!! Finished off with a generous serving on home are Apple crumble and Luca ice cream!! Can't wait to go back!!!
