The Big Blu - East Lothian

Visited last Sunday for Cod and Chips. One member had the vegan Taco and said they enjoyed it.Not much to choose from regarding drinks but the Lifeboat shop opposite had a fair selection.The fish was tasty, the portion small for the price of considering we were taking it away from the wee window on the van.Friendly service and two picnic tables available to dine at.This was the last weekend of the season, we read on a leaflet. Sorry, I don’t know when they will be back.

I just enjoyed the chorizo crumble pizza this evening down at Dunbar Harbour. This is the most authentic, best tasting sourdough crust pizza I've had anywhere in the UK. Great guys serving it up as well. They park up at the harbour Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I'll definitely return for more.

We were recommended to try this restaurant by a local, expecting a seafood restaurant, but were surprised to find a small shack at the harbor. Despite the different setting than expected, we enjoyed the atmosphere. They do not serve drinks, so we had to visit a couple of other food vans for beverages. The food was good, although my calamari came with a bland pile of iceberg lettuce. I would suggest improving this by adding a dressing and some tomatoes. However, the squid and fish were cooked well. The staff were friendly and entertaining. I would recommend trying this place for a waterfront lunch on a sunny day.

My dad and I went to pick up food for our mom and brother. We ordered a variety of dishes including calamari, mussels, fish, cullen skink, and a burger. The food was amazing and came out quickly. Everything was packaged well and had great flavor. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
