read moreLocated in Musselburgh, The Ravelston has garnered attention for its diverse dining options, particularly its renowned fish and chips—a longtime favorite among locals. While many patrons praise the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, recent visits reveal inconsistencies in service and food quality. Diners have noted small portion sizes and discrepancies between online and actual menus, leading to disappointment. Although breakfast offerings left some craving more, the standout dishes like the lamb and sticky toffee pudding received acclaim. Despite these mixed reviews, The Ravelston remains a charming spot for both food and gatherings, particularly in challenging times.
