We stumbled on Humbie Hub when trying to find a comfortable place for a coffee off the main road. We were not expecting much when we parked our car, however we were pleasantly surprised to find a buzzing little cafe at the back of the general store which had a large window overlooking the countryside. The coffee and food were both very good with friendly service. Obviously by the many people coming and going it is ve... View all feedback.

We have visited several times in the past and generally had a good experience . However our last visit was disappointing. After ordering at the counter, we waited almost 30 minutes before enquiring when our food and drinks would be ready, only to be told that they had lost our order. Unbelievable! How could this happen? We were disappointed and annoyed and opted to leave rather than continue to wait, and went elsewhe... View all feedback.
The lovely sunny day helped us appreciate a friendly, family stopping place. The choice from the menu is short and sweet. The staff look after you, without fuss.
We nipped in here for a few rolls and drinks which were all fine but we did find the rolls very very dry and a little stingy with the fillings. It would have been much better if they’d have used butter (none used at all) and a little more filling too. The cafe is beautifully decorated and very clean and has a lovely setting.
Great food, lovely coffee, charming staff, fantastic quality, and the general environment is warm, welcoming and conducive to relaxing over a cosy chat. I regularly pop in here for a lunch-time take-away as well.
Beautiful place, friendly staff, delicious food. Gorgeous setting. We have had lunch and coffee here and attended lovely evening private functions. Worth a visit.
We were staying in a cottage in Humbie (see my other reivew) and couldn't find it. We stopped at the Humbie Hub and the gentlemen (and I use that description on purpose) kindly directed us. We called in on a few mornings for a paper, had a wonderful fruit scone and coffeee there one afternoon and popped in for scones to take away other days. There are comfy sofas where you can while away time reading or on the internet or just chatting. This place is lovely and clean, the food was very varied and looked delicious. There is a post office and you can also get some lovely fresh bread, cakes, eggs and essential foodstuffs you need. They also have a film night once a month. There was a real feeling of community spirit about it but they made visitors feel very welcome too. Every village should have a Humbie Hub.
