Buttermilk's Chicken - East Islip

Food was amazing!! The owners were so sweet, kind and informative of their menu. The interior was so cute and cozy. You'll love the chicken and make sure to try their chicken salad ! So good! :

We decided to try Buttermilk 's Chicken before our long 9.5 hour drive home from Long Island to Toronto and we were not disappointed at all. The music, the friendliness of the man and woman running the place and of course the food exceeded our expectations. I had the Kickin ' Chicken and would seriously consider this as one of the main reasons aside from visiting family to make the drive again. As a family of self-proclaimed 'foodies ' this place topped our list as great little spots to eat. A hidden gem!

All of our food was delicious. Perfectly cooked. People working there are so nice .? (side note) flooring needs some attention . Im a stickler to details.

Some of the crispiest fried chicken I have ever had. Juicy inside and tender meat. Great spot. Super friendly staff. 10/10 !!!

After running a few errands around the area we found ourselves hungry, but did not want to have a big sit down and did not want to have fast food. We found Buttermilk's on our route home and decided to drive by to see what it looked like. Well let me just say that this meal was like walking back in time to that old fashioned home cooked meal I didn't even know I was yearning for! The corn bread?!?! Whaaat??? The best I think I have EvER had! I'm saying if you haven't tried this place yet, just do it. You will be very happy you did! The staff and atmosphere was super friendly and the seating comfortable and clean. I'm not sure what else I can say but enjoy!!
