Good honest roast dinner at a reasonable price, while renter julie and barmann roger on amusing wise. good real ale and apple wine. 2 frying flours, half of the real zider, pint of spitfire and 250ml cab sauv for less than £ 30. also vegan and veggies!

Beautiful pub a real pub! As soon as I went into me, I immediately felt welcome and safe, I venerated the machine to put bags over their mud shoes after a walk, it is awesome! the lady who owns the pub is simply beautiful and has nothing against asking that we have asked, we had to ask how we loved the view of the pub and needed to know more, and their history was so hearty and beautiful (she does much for the community). only ordered coffee and left with such a beautiful feeling

This cozy country pub is truly welcoming. While it may not have the trendy look of a gastro pub, it has the charm of a traditional old pub. We appreciated this distinction, as there are so many gastro pubs that all seem to blend together. The bartender and other patrons were friendly, creating a warm atmosphere that is not always found in country pubs. The dishes and table settings have a classic, vintage feel, and the menu consists mainly of pub classics. Don't let this deter you, as the food is prepared exceptionally well. I ordered the sausages and mash, and it was packed with flavor, featuring locally sourced sausages without unnecessary fillers or added water. The gravy was also rich and flavorful. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed her meal, and with the reasonable prices, this place truly deserves five stars.
