Chef Luis' kitchen produces food that rivals the best on the east end. Check out this relaxing unHamptony spot and you'll not want to go back to the high-paced, high-priced Hampton scene. View all feedback.
What Paul N Dapontes doesn't like about Michaels Maidstone Bar And Restaurant:
Food was ok but the service was sub par. Made my Girlfriend wait outside with my grandson while waiting for me to arrive because he couldn’t wait in the “bar area” because of his age. Never offered to have them sit in the dining room which was empty. They need to upgrade their employees and understand that they are there for the customers. 20 minuits just to get service and a piece of bread..... unacceptable!!!! View all feedback.
Wonderful dinner!! We go there all the time. Staff is amazing.

The food was outstanding however I am still uneasy about the way we were treated upon arriving with my two year old. The restaurant was empty other than one table (seated with one person). We were sat in the far back corner next to an exit door. It was tight, I mean really tight! My husband asked the waiter if we could be sat somewhere else because we couldn 't even reach down if my son dropped something which he will because he 's two. The waiter quickly responded no because they have reservations and that solo table already complained that a child was sitting near her and asked to move. We were there at this point for a total of 3 minutes. She was bothered by my pleasant, adorable 2 year old and was able to move her seat but we could not because there were reservations? About five minutes later, our waiter came over with a change of heart and moved us. The food was outstanding and my two year old was well behaved and lovely. We were there for about an hour and a half. No reservations ever came. The place was still empty. Once we moved we had a great experience but I am still very bothered by the way we were treated when we arrived.

Great food but only one waitress and one bus person for whole restaurant. We waited half hour for a drink, hour for dinner and then to cap it off , half hour for dessert. Good thing we didn't order appetizers. People were lined up trying to pay their bill. Felt sorry for waitress that was totally overwhelmed. We won't be back.
