Dome is one of our go to places for brekkie and lunch so we thought we would bring our overseas visitors here. The great thing with Dome is that the menu is rock solid and you always know the food is going to be quality and value for money. Would definitely recommend to others! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dome Cafe:
We wanted a no hassle easy parking coffee and we got it. While it's difficult to get a coffee at 7pm at night it was a great relief to find the Dome open. Not fancy but we all already know that of the Dome. View all feedback.
I ordered the potato rosti with bacon, wilted spinach, and poached eggs. It was probably the worst breakfast I have ever had! It looked nothing like the picture on the menu and tasted terrible. The poached eggs were semi-cold and fully cooked, like a hard-boiled egg. The bacon was overcooked and the potato rosti was terrible. Overall, it was probably the worst meal I have had in a long time. I was really disappointed.
If you are going to invest a significant amount of money in leasing a Dome Restaurant, it would be wise to ensure that you put effort into running it properly. I visited the East Fremantle Dome today and aside from the location and view, there was nothing that would make me want to return. The food selection was the same as any other Dome, but the staff, service, and hygiene standards were worse than any other. It was disappointing to see a table cleared without being properly wiped down, and when I asked for it to be cleaned, I was told to find one of the staff on the floor, who were nowhere to be found. It was evident that they were understaffed that day. The coffee took a long time to arrive, and our food orders took much longer than usual, with one order completely forgotten and taking an additional 20 minutes to arrive after bringing it to the staff's attention. Dome, you need to step up your game before it's too late and you go out of business.
Disappointed as the kitchen closed at 1.30pm but coffee was available. No chicken burgers that day so we went off to Leighton.
The drinking glasses were dirty. The plates were dirty. The cutlery was dirty. Constant crashing noises were coming from the kitchen. The waiter forgot to give us the drinks we ordered. The food tasted nice but took a while to prepare.
Used to go there every second Sunday until it closed and was always excellent no matter what we ordered. Since it 's reopened its NOT the same. We ordered Calamari and chips my chips were cold. When we ordered dessert which was a slice of cake should have called it a slither NOT a slice and it was the same with my friends Apple Pie totally disappointing. She asked for the Apple Pie to be heated and when it was served to her half was luke warm and the other half was stone cold!!!! Won 't be going back in a hurry.
