Delicious food. I did get sesame chicken which wasn't edible. Maybe cook having an off day. Was promised a credit. Will see if that happens. That may change my review.Parking: Parking in shopping center View all feedback.
What Paul Nakazawa doesn't like about Jj Garden:
Our local (Jackson Heights/East Elmhurst) go-to restaurant for Chinese takeaway. The food is of decent quality though by no means gourmet. But for every day eating a reliable choice. Very convenient location in the Jackson Heights shopping center — plenty of parking and other shops (including grocery store and French patisserie).Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
I gave this restaurant three stars because they provided fortune cookies, and the food was decent, but the service was terrible. Plus, there wasn't any ice cream for the kids as dessert. This place used to be really good. If the service improves, I might consider coming back. I really miss King Yum; that place was amazing.
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Queens has slightly higher prices than most, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. I’ve dined here many times, and the food is always fresh and delicious. This will always be my go-to spot for Chinese cuisine.
I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been coming here for over 10 years, and their quality is consistently outstanding!
This is a classic Chinese restaurant that offers a mix of traditional dishes and some American favorites like French fries and chicken wings. I tried some standout dishes, such as the Triple Green Jade Delight and Boneless Spare Ribs, which were excellently prepared. However, I found the Vegetable Lo Mein to be lacking; it was mostly just noodles with a few shreds of carrot and scallion, and there was only one mushroom included. On a positive note, there's plenty of parking available, which is a plus in this densely populated area. Overall, the food is good and reasonably priced, so I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
I used to really enjoy ordering from this restaurant, but I haven't placed an order in a while. When I finally decided to order again, I specifically requested no vegetables because I'm allergic to peas, yet my meal still contained multiple peas. Additionally, a significant portion of the food was burnt, and some of the chicken was practically inedible. I've never experienced these issues before. It's clear that the quality of the food has declined, and I'm quite disappointed. On a side note, the Chicken Fried Rice had an odd smell—definitely not a pleasant one. I won't be ordering from here again, but I hope the restaurant can return to its previous level of quality one day.
