Very... read more I visited last Saturday as this place was recommended on my drive through to Cornwall. I was warmly greeted by a young lady with glasses who took my order. Very friendly and informative. We ended up having toasties and cake recommend by server which was delicious. Overall a lovely place warm welcome and efficient service. Only downside server was constantly being order to do other tasks whilst serving throwing off the flow of service, lady who seemed in charge was very manic and distracting which seemed to fluster the other ladies working. However I would still recommend.

The service was great from the young lady that served us, she smiled she was welcoming she had conversation she was flawless with the service she gave ,her colleagues also helpful and polite. Usually I ask for names to make a complaint but not this time BTW her name is Sonia so please pay her a visit she will not disappoint.

My... read more On June 20th 2023 I wrote a very uncomplimentary review about Coffee#1 Honiton. It was dirty, staff were scruffily presented and tables had not been cleared. My wife and I were back in Honiton yesterday and called into two other establishments and left without ordering. The minute we walked into Coffee#1 the changes hit us. The food on display looked inviting, sensibly priced, the cabinets were clean, no crumbs or spilt fillings.The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful from the word go, everyone was beautifully presented. They worked hard as a team which enhanced the whole environment. There were no tables waiting to be cleared and no queuing. The eating areas were tidy and clean and service was very prompt. You have set the standard in Honiton, we were made to feel welcome and not an inconvenience. It is all down to staff attitude and work ethic.Well done.
