Fantastic chip shop. So glad they do the 5pound lunch small fish and chips this really helps in these tough hard times. Food always cooked fresh. Lots of Staff and always polite. I recently purchased cod and chips because I didn't feel like cooking. It turned out to be the worst decision I've ever made. The cod was extremely dry, with no white flesh left. The batter was so hard that even my dog had trouble chewing it, and the chips were also dry and tough. I spent almost £10 and it was a complete waste. I always visit the Honiton Chippee (opposite the police station) Good fish and chips, very clean tidy, and organised. It's just a shame they pay more attention to their online orders i.e. paper bags on the counter, than they do in greeting walk in customers with eye contact and immediately care for the customer in front of them.
