Oxley Estate Winery - East Alton

My wife and I visited this restaurant in the summer of 2021. She was concerned about being able to order a mixed drink, so I called ahead. The waitress we had was excellent, taking great care of us and leaving a positive impression. I ordered the perch and enjoyed it, while my wife also enjoyed her dish (though I forget what she ordered). We were initially considering trying other nearby restaurants, but an 80-year-old lady recommended this place as she is a great cook. We trusted her recommendation and were pleased with our decision. While we were tempted to explore other dining options, we were not disappointed with our choice. My wife always looks forward to enjoying a mixed drink when we dine out, and I personally enjoy the beautiful view and wine tasting experience offered at Viewpoint Winery.

Service, eating, location all 5 stars! would definitely recommend only for a nice afternoon for wine tasting and a great lunch or a special occasion. we visited a high time and it was unforgettable!

We waited for the perch to be back on the menu. this time we have 6-7 pieces perch and they now give more pommes. elaborate, but every bit worth. Friday night and was not very busy ...

We had such a big breakfast that we had everything we could look at in oxley that was a cheese dish for lunch. it had many quantities of cheese and brot cracks, berries, quittenkonservat, grapes and some nice nuts mix with chocolate chips and cocosnuss. the amount of local cheese (which is not cheap) made it almost worth the $30 they calculate. I could only have asked if they knew a little more about the cheese they served, it was a little unclear where some of the cheese came from. I think we've fed outside, I can't really remember, but the location and the staff were very pleasant.

Oxley Winery is a must-visit. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with very welcoming and helpful staff. We enjoyed an amazing lunch with excellent wine pairings. The black pepper lime chicken was outstanding.
