Soane's Kitchen - Ealing
Soane's Kitchen
Description
Nestled next to Walpole Park, Soane's Kitchen offers a charming atmosphere with beautiful decor and attentive service. Diners appreciate the inviting setting and quality cocktails, enhancing the overall experience. However, the culinary offerings are hit-or-miss, with some dishes praised for their flavors, while others fall flat, leaving patrons disappointed. Service inconsistencies have been noted, particularly during busy periods, and there are concerns over pricing versus portion sizes. Despite some mixed reviews, many believe that with a few adjustments, Soane's could truly shine as a premier dining destination in Ealing. The potential is clear; it's execution that needs refinement.

Although the restaurant was short staffed , you would not know it as they worked extremely hard to ensure everything was laid out according to my daughter son in laws instructions. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. The food was excellent and setting was beautiful over looking the walled garden- perfect for a wedding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any event.
The service was excellent and the front team were delightful. Sadly the food and presentation was disappointing. Our starters were very small and tasteless. I was recommended to try the hamburger, but they had sold out. I had the chicken with steamed green veg instead which cost £18.50.. Again, tasteless and overpriced. Sorry Soane Kitchen..
Had a relaxed lunch at Soane's Kitchen. The food was excellent good choices and all very fresh. The surroundings are lovely and having the doors completely open at one end gives good ventilation and a view of the garden. Will definitely revisit.
We had brunch at Soane's cafe. It was excellent; very goo service and food, excellent coffee a really good experience all round
Great visit to Soanes kitchen on a Friday evening. We had 2-1 cocktails in the beautiful garden where we had attentive table service. We then moved inside and had a very tasty meal. The recommended wine was wonderful and the food was excellent. I had the crab tacos to start which are generously portioned and taste amazing. Followed with the pea and mint risotto which was creamy and perfectly cooked. I’ve been to Soane’s a number of times and enjoyed the food but my complaint has always been the bad service but on this recent visit service was perfect. Our orders were taken promptly, plates cleared and we never had to wait to get someone’s attention if needed. We were asked regularly if we needed anything and were asked how we enjoyed our meal at the end. All the staff were friendly and genuinely welcoming. Evidently the place has a new manager and it really shows. I hope people will give Soane’s another try. They’ve had a lot of teething problems In the early days, but have the potential to be one of the nicest restaurants in ealing. Hopefully the new regime continues!
