I am a governess and took the boys I look after and teach to KFC as a treat at their request. Upon arrival, it was already busy and very understaffed. When it was my time to order there was a long queue behind me. I was ordering three meals and the boys didn’t tell me what sides they wanted so I guessed, then one of the boys came back and forth deciding what they both wanted. At this stage, the male staff member who served me was getting frustrated and told me “quick quick quick quick” and waving his hand at me, at which I was so horrified! He was definitely under pressure by the queue behind me but it was not my fault that the restaurant was so poorly staffed... which I had exclaimed to the staff member. Once we got our meals, one of the boys didn’t realise his burger had ketchup and doesn’t like ketchup, so he asked me to swap it for one without ketchup. The same male staff member served me again and replied with “so no ketchup? But you already touched it...” implying there was nothing he could do about it. I was so angry at this point and even threatened to pay for a new one for a simple swap. In the end I didn’t but I thought it was outrageous that this staff member could come up with such responses. Also, most of the tables were dirty and it took half an hour for someone to clean the one we were sitting on so had to deal with a dirty table for a long time. Appalled at the service and cleanliness. This restaurant needs more staff, customer training and/or letting go members of staff who simply aren’t right for the job and need to be in a non customer service environment!
Friendly service from mostly very experienced staff. Had problems in the past in that I 'd get home and an item would be missing from my order so made a point of always checking before I left to ensure everything was there. This hasn 't been an issue in recent times so I think they 've upped their game after receiving feedback. Staff are cheerful and polite which makes a difference, even though some customers I 've seen here leave a lot to be desired when it comes to manners. It never hurts to say please or thank you . It 's worth signing up for the rewards card which is a fairly new thing as you can get freebies once you 've spent a certain amount.
It's a KFC what else is there to say? Well, it's cleaner than some, so that's a bonus. Service with a smile from the current team but then it is always about the people is it not? I have frequented this particular outlet for over 20 years and the service is currently as good as it has ever been though I have endured some less than stellar service (and food! in past years.
It's pretty much good store I'm use to get there since 9yrs Excellent service and customer care superb
