I placed an order through Uber Eats for 2 kebabs, 1 chicken and chips, 1 savaloy, 3 cans of drinks, and 1 portion of chips, which totaled £30.00. I had made a special request for the garlic sauce to be put in a pot instead of on the kebab, as I knew they put too much garlic sauce on. I’d heard about this well established place and decided to give it a try. In my opinion, Fish should be Steam cooked in crispy batter and chips should be crispy on the outside but fluffy in the inside. I ate here at lunchtime, it’s pretty much a take away only, however there are a few stools available. The cod was of good quality, as expected, and the chips were wonderful. Also, compared to others, was good value for money. Definitely recommended.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 20 years and the food and service have always been exceptional. The fish and chips are delicious, but the real standout dish is the chicken wings. I have tried wings from every chicken shop in the area, but nothing compares to the ones from this place. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, full of energy and playful banter.
I really enjoy the delicious fish and chips at this restaurant. It is a great spot to visit on Fridays for a quick and easy traditional meal.
