Description

Nestled in Ealing, this café presents a mixed experience for its patrons. While some visitors praise the exceptional service from staff members like Maria, who enhances their day with recommendations and warmth, others report severe cleanliness issues and disappointing service. Customers have noted that the coffee quality has declined, with some expressing dissatisfaction with burnt-tasting brews. Despite these concerns, many return for the inviting atmosphere, prompt service, and comforting beverages, particularly black americanos. Overall, this café remains a popular stop for locals, balancing moments of joy with unfortunate lapses in hygiene and service consistency.

This restaurant is extremely unclean. I have never seen a more filthy coffee shop before. The tables are covered in dirty cups, the floor is dirty from spilled food and there are pieces of paper scattered around. The staff are not doing anything to clean up, they are just standing around chatting.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at Cafe Nero today. Despite patiently waiting my turn to be served, I felt like an invisible customer as both baristas ignored me and seemed more interested in serving the white customers who came in. Already having a rough morning, all I wanted was a simple coffee. It's disheartening that in this day and age, such behavior is still tolerated. Unfortunately, the experience tainted the taste of my coffee.

I used to enjoy the quality of coffee from this location, but recently it has been disappointing. The coffee now tastes old and burnt, almost like cold milk with a hint of coffee stirred in with a spoon. It seems very basic and unprofessional now.

I had an experience with Caffè Nero which was lovely. I was served by Maria. I had a bad experience with a hot chocolate somewhere else. I really wanted to have a hot chocolate, and a cake. Maria was amazing, I was feeling quite emotional that day. She explained about the different hot chocolates and I had what Maria had recommended. I wanted to have a cake and was recommended a lemon drizzle cake and explained about it. I had both and is was both delicious. Such a good experience I absolutely love it here. Maria always is professional as well as informative and sweet. She is diligent, as well as a breathe of sunshine.
