I come here regularly to order my fish and chips. The environment needs some atmosphere, but the owners are very friendly, and the fish and chips they serve have nothing to envy from the locals. Good quality/price ratio for being sea-caught fish, especially the haddock!
We ordered fish and chips takeaway on a Saturday evening. It was very quiet. The person behind the counter was very friendly and explained that he was frying the fish freshly so would take 10mins and it did. The fish was enough for 2people at least (50p in the picture was to show perspective). The batter was light and not too greasy the chips had that perfect fish shop taste. You could tell they take great pride in their food and carefully wrapped each item. A great part of the community
I had a lovely piece of quality rock last night, it was lovely creamy and white and fresh. Service is always unbelievable, please I have no words but to say Kyle does not know what he is talking about.................
Always greeted with a smile and the quality of the chips, size and meat of the fish, and the fry of the battered sausage is exceptional!
Ordered Large Rock Chips for dinner this evening, got home and tucked into the fish to find a large bone and the fish uncooked. Been here several times previously and requested that the food be cooked a little longer when ordering, however the owner refused this request and tonight I receive frozen raw fish. Certainly won’t be coming back.
