We 've been wanting to experience real German food ever since our trip to Leavenworth. We 'd say the food was pretty tasty. We loved the sauce sampler for our chicken schnitzel the bacon cheese dip and pretzel was super delish. I 'dsay it might be a little overpriced for the picnic table seating and overall atmosphere. The service was good and we lookforward to going again sometime.

I lived in Germany for 3 years and I feel this restaurant does a good job of serving authentic style fare. The beers are excellent. The prices are on the high side and you have to wait a little longer for your food, but the foodand size of the portions is worth it. You must make reservations or you may not get a table.

This wonderful dish is... read more First time here, but definitely not our last! We ordered the Bayerische Schlachplatte Bavarian Meat Sampler and we were not disappointed! This wonderful dish is served with a pork shank and four mixed sausages, served over the top of red cabbage (rotkohl), sauerkraut, and, in our case spetzle. We also enjoyed the Apple Strudel (Apfelstrudle) for dessert. Of course, we washedit all down with a couple of liters of Spaten. Service was also excellent. Looking forward to our return soon!

They could even make the schnitzels Gluten free for my wife. Had the Jager Schnitzel which is a mushroom gravy and it didnt disappoint Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really wonderful made from scratch flavor and attentive, proactive staff. We had lots of questions about the menu and our server was happy to answer. We enjoyed the beef stroganoff which was great, and the pork shank which was the absolute most tender pork I have ever tasted! The price reflects the quality of food and service. Worth the splurge.
