Cafe Yumm! Lakemoor - Eagle

Their “yummy” sauce is so good I started making it at home for my lunch bowls!

This is a chain out of Oregon. They have locations all over Oregon and Washington. This is the first of three locations in Idaho. It was as good as I remember. I have a special fondness for Cafe Yumm. I ate there tons in grad school. All bowls can be made vegan with extra avocado or cabbage and carrots. They also have salads and sandwiches. Their special sauce is vegan. You can add tofu or tempeh to bowls. They also have beer and wine and some desserts. This location is clean, modern, and full of helpful and nice staff. I even met the owner when I was there. Highly recommend if you are obsessed with bean and rice bowls too.

There are good menu choices available at this restaurant. However, the yam sauce has a slightly odd flavor.

I always order the Yumm Bento with BBQ tofu, jasmine rice, and both Yumm sauce and teriyaki sauce (I love their sauces!). It also comes with a delicious coleslaw with a ginger dressing. The coleslaw is unlike any coleslaw you've ever had, it's really tasty! It's a bit of a journey for me to go to this restaurant, so I always order an extra BBQ tofu. I highly recommend it. If you ask about vegan options, the staff have a nutritional guide available to provide accurate information.

This well-designed café offers tasty vegan options that are both comforting and crispy. Their vegan ginger cookie is a must-try if they still have it in stock. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially for first-time visitors trying to navigate the menu. The café has a beautiful, clean system and a lovely view as well.
