The pulled pork and Jerk chicken poutine at this restaurant are incredible! It's the best I've ever had. Although the location has changed from Eagle Lake (near me) to Gooderham (at the intersection of hwy 503 & 507) farther away, I still make the effort to travel for the food. It's definitely worth the drive! View all feedback.
What Kasija Lukajić doesn't like about Smokin' Jake's BBQ Shack:
We went to this place to try it, but we were very disappointed. We paid for a family size of fries, but instead of giving us fresh ones they re-fried the ones that they had. This $8.50 and you can buy a hole bag of potatoes for this. Needless to say that we will not be going there ever again. View all feedback.
We got in touch with Shane from Smokin' Jakes to inquire about catering our nearby wedding and we're so glad we did. He did an AMAZING job with a meal for about 90 people and the dinner was so affordable too. Shane was so easy to work with and so helpful in the planning process. We would definitely recommend Smokin' Jakes BBQ shack!
Delicious food and atomoshpere. Friendly staff and knowledge of area for day tripping. Will be back at new location in Gooderham

After reading positive reviews, we talked to some locals before deciding to try this restaurant. The worker at the "shack" was courteous and quick. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich and fries, which were delicious. The pulled pork was some of the best I've ever had.
