I drove through the drive-thru to place my order at Subway, only to find that it is now a touch screen kiosk, eliminating any interaction with employees. The lobby was dirty and strange, and when I reached the drive-thru window, it was filthy. The staff member refused to accept my expired coupon, which was only 8 days past the date. I drove through the drive-thru to place my order at Subway, only to find that it is now a touch screen kiosk, eliminating any interaction with employees. The lobby was dirty and strange, and when I reached the drive-thru window, it was filthy. The staff member refused to accept my expired coupon, which was only 8 days past the date. I typically use expired coupons without issue, but not here. This was my second attempt to eat at Subway today, as my first stop in Sisters, Oregon was a disaster with no one available to take our order. I then drove to Redmond, Oregon to use my coupon and gift card, only to be turned away. The service and attitude were terrible, and instead of making a sale with the coupon, they lost a customer and wasted food.
It took me 15 minutes to place my order at the drive-through, despite there being no other customers.
