Three visits since I discovered it late this summer, three A+ meals. Do NOT be put off by the current convenience store location. Hearty portions. Food is freaking delicious. I often crave the carnitas tacos. We've also had the chicken tinga tacos, rice, chips and various salsas. All good, and I look forward to trying more. View all feedback.
What Jo Collins doesn't like about Mean Miner's Tacos (located Inside Farmer's Grandson Eatery):
tried to go there when it said they were open (2:30 on a friday). nobody answered the phone and the door was locked. no sign saying they’re closed or anything : really disappointing tbh View all feedback.
Tacos we're good but the station attendant that you pay was rude. It's a gas station...
Went on a Sun and they said they weren't serving tacos , burritos and they could offer us a salad??? Why are you open?

If less than one star was am option that is what I would rate mean miner's tacos. I can here with my wife and daughter thinking we might get some decent street tacos. When we first arrived we thought the place had closed because they are no longer their own restaurant but moved into the gas station at the end of the strip mall. The fact that it is now in a gas station should have been a warning sign but we decided to give it a try anyways. The second warning sign was the struggle to order. We made no alterations to any of the order but the person taking the order still didn't seem to be able to follow what we were asking for or how many of each taco we wanted. After finally getting our order placed we got to wait for a solid 25 minutes before I watched them walk over to a steamer tray and start taking the meat out to make our dinner. Once we finally got our food we found out that not only was the order wrong but the food was mostly inedible. Each taco was soaked in whatever water the meat had been stewing in for what I can only assume was days because of how dried out the meat was. The tortillas became a soggy mess that was falling apart when you tried to pick it up and the meat was dry and tasteless. At the end of the day we spent about $40 to get a few bad tacos that went mostly uneaten and were thrown away. We left hungry and stopped somewhere else for food because everyone was hungry but no one was willing to finish more than one of these disgusting tacos. If you're in the mood to sit in a gas station and eat overpriced bad food give them a try but we will never go back.
